The past few weeks have flown as most weeks do. We're now 10 weeks along and in just two short weeks we'll be in our second trimester. It's true, your second pregnancy does go by much faster. I'm extremely happy about that though.
This pregnancy hasn't been a breeze like my pregnancy with Anelia. It's been near the opposite but I am noticing that as the weeks go by I am feeling a lot better and vomiting a lot less. Thank goodness!
I have to schedule my ultrasound which will be in a short 5-6 weeks. I can't wait! I have been debating on going to Miracle In Progress again, it was so fun to find out what we were having last time with our entire family there to see. They also promise that they can determine the sex of the baby by 14 weeks. We'll see, I have a few more weeks to decide.
Our house is very, very slowly becoming a home. As I gain more energy and become less nauseous I've been trying to situate things more. In due time... But may I say that Pinterest makes me wish I had all the money in the world so I could make my house super cute. Until I win the lottery that will just remain a dream ha.
We were able to put our new home to use and hosted a baby shower this past weekend for my cousin, Tuli and good friend, Bridget. They're expecting a baby boy in March! I'm so excited for them, being a parent has been the best thing to happen to me and I look forward to them experiencing all the joys of having a baby of their own. I can't wait to meet him!
I can't finish this post off without an update about our little princess, Anelia. What a true joy she is. Yesterday, we went to the park and she was playing with one of Sage's little cousins who's 18 months. She was soo sweet to him. When he'd want what she was playing with, she'd let him have it right away. They were even playing fetch and Anelia would let him get the ball every time. (Yes, the game you play with dogs. Toddlers don't mind ha!) She's going to be such an amazing older sister, I'm glad the Lord provided us with such a patient oldest child. I'm so proud to call her mine!
I often ask myself how I got so lucky with all that we have. I'm truly thankful that the Lord has provided us with all of our very many blessings. Things haven't always been easy and we have our trials that we face but with faith and much patience we've been able to get through the bumps in the road. So with that said, we are blessed and for that I am thankful!

Moving Day
Today is a fabulous Monday and to add onto the fabulous-ness of it being a Monday, we're moving.
Oh joy! (insert sarcasm here)
The beautiful little town home that was our first place of our own, has gone into foreclosure. The owner hasn't been paying for quite sometime apparently. We were upset at first but our landlord is a great guy and paid us out of our lease; instead of having us find out from finding a beautiful notice on our door.
It was pretty much a blessing in disguise. Our lease would have been up in September and we would have had to move because our town home was only two bedrooms. I also am due September 20th which means I would have had to move at 38 weeks pregnant. Anyone who's been 38 weeks pregnant knows that would not have been fun whatsoever.
We found the perfect three bedroom, two and a half bath home that is upgraded and has a cute little backyard. It's perfect for our growing family and our new landlords seem extremely nice.
I've haven't been very helpful when it comes to the move. It's quite terrible & I think Sage's patience is wearing thin, haha, oh well. I've been extremely tired and nauseous all the time. I have had no desire to pack. I know, I sound so lazy but I promised Sage I'll make my weekend a productive one and unpack and get our home situated.
Speaking of this pregnancy, I'm 8 weeks and 3 days, today. I'm really hoping that my energy comes back to me soon, I'm not used to feeling sooo exhausted all the time. I know in my last post I said that I was positive I was having a boy but every now and then I second guess myself. Just 8 more weeks and we'll find out. These past 2 and a half weeks have flown by. I feel like my entire pregnancy is going to fly, I sure hope so.
Our little gem Anelia is doing great as always. Goodness, I just love her. This past weekend she was so clingy and was my shadow. She cracks me up the way she's learning to talk. I'll say something and she'll attempt to mimic me. She says Mommy, alot & I LOVE it. Saturday night I was trying to get her to fall asleep and I dozed off and she shook me and said "Aye Mommy!!!" It was hilarious and precious all at the same time.
Speaking of this past weekend, I forgot to mention that I took Sage to LA to see the Clippers vs. Heat game. It was a really good game and kept us on our toes. Sage's expression when we walked into the Staples center and during the game was priceless. It was his first NBA game so it was a pretty big deal. Next game I want to get closer seats but my next goal is to buy him tickets to a Seattle Seahawks game. He always says he wants to watch a game in that stadium because it's the loudest in the country. We'll see ;)
Things have been pretty wonderful for our growing little family. As I always mention, we are blessed.
