Oh Baby!

I've wanted a second child for a long time.  Now that we have a place our of own and are financially comfortable, Sage & I feel that we're ready to bring another beautiful baby into our family.  The other day I had mentioned going to the doctor to Sage and that I was 110% ready and I had asked if he was with me... I'll never forget his sweet response, "Yes, I want a baby boy hun..."  Although I'll be thrilled with either boy or girl, I'd love to have a son.  I'm so excited because I know my love for Ane and I look forward to sharing that love with another beautiful angel.

I already know what he/she will be named, Tai.  Yes, my maiden name.  I've always loved my last name and I considered it when deciding a name for Ane & passed it up.  I know for sure that boy or girl, our sweet baby #2 will be named Tai.  I love it.

I pray that Heavenly Father will bless us soon.  I know that Anelia will be an amazing older sister.  Anytime we see or hear a baby when we're out she automatically says "baby!" in the sweetest high pitched voice.  I look forward to this journey and for a new HUGE yet little blessing in our lives.

Only time will tell...

In other news, our sweet Anelia will be 2 in 5 short days.  I can't believe it.  I can't even explain the blessing she is in our lives and how she brightens up each minute of my life.  She's at the age where everything she does is so silly.

Here's a few of the incredible things our girl is doing:
She says sooo many words, her newest things to say are...
Coooool!
No, No, No!
Inu (Tongan for drink)
Peees (Please)
Let's go!

She is loving football season and enjoys going to games and cheering.
She likes to run, as soon as we say "Ready, Set... Go!" she's gone.
She loves jumping on the bed and screaming "Jump! Jump!"
She sleeps in her own bed every, single night.
She knows how to unlock and manuver through her ipad like a pro.
She LOVES Disney Jr.
She has mastered fake crying and it's hilarious, she sounds like a seal.
She's extremely tall and gorgeous.  Future athlete/model!

I could go on & on about the amazing things our princess does.  Each day is always something new and fun with her.  The other day we were shopping and as I bent down to try some shoes on her little feet, she grabbed my head, hugged me tight and kissed my forehead.  It's moments like that, that make my world go round and make me so thankful for the ray of sunshine she is in my life everyday.

We're taking her to Disneyland on the day of her Birthday and I am soooo excited for her.  She's going to love it.  Now if only I could rent the place out to ensure that we get to do everything we want to do... ha *wishful thinking*  We're blessed beyond words to have her in our lives and we look forward to spoiling our sweet girl on her day.

XO,
Ang

Stay tuned, xo.

It's September...

It's now September almost October and since my last post a lot has changed for the better in our lives.  We celebrated our 1 year anniversary in August.  We didn't do anything special but we did purchase our first car together.  It's a beauty, it's a grey Toyota Camry and Sage loves it.  He is the one who drives it the most.  I'm not a fan of cars, I love my Lucy.

Anyways, Sage graduated, was sworn in and has started his new job.  I'm so incredibly proud of his hard work and perserverance in his academy and getting himself to where he is today.  Since he started his law enforcement career he's a whole new man.  More confident, mature, educated, etc.  Seeing Sage where he is now is a beautiful thing.  I've known him since he was 15 and watching him grow into this incredible person has been truly amazing and I'm thankful share this journey with him.  I can't say enough how much I love him and how proud he makes me.

On September 9th we took on a new, scary, exciting journey and moved into a place of our very own. We had been living with Sage's family since June of 2012 and decided it was time to be "grown ups" and move out.  I enjoyed the time spent with Sage's familiy.  Living with them brought me so much more closer to them.  I appreciate and love Sage's familiy as if they're my own.  I don't have much family here so I have enjoyed their company.  Thankfully, my parents still live here but my siblings all live back home in Salt Lake so his siblings have slowly become my own while living under the same roof.  Anytime I needed help with Ane or anything, his family was quick to help.  I'll cherish the time spent and the memories of living with them.

Our new place is beautiful and I'm not just saying that because it's ours'.  Everything is upgraded, dark hardwood floors, all brand new appliances, vaulted ceilings, shutter blinds.  It's exactly what I would have dreamed of in our first home.  It's not very big, just two bedrooms and two bathrooms but we don't need big right now, it fits our family perfectly.

Since moving I definitely am learning a whole new part of my role as a mother and a wife; I'm loving it!  When we first moved in I was so excited to clean, do laundry, the dishes, etc.  I look forward to straightening up my home for guests, I enjoy making our house a home by putting up decor.  It's all very exciting and new to me.

Moving has also opened my eyes to how truly blessed we are.  We have a nice home, nice vehicles to drive, and a gorgeous, crazy, hilarious little girl.  Speaking of that little girl, our Anelia Dawn will be TWO next month.  I don't know where time went.  I spend my days watching Ane run around, say words, ask for things, where did my baby go?  She's grown into a loud, crazy, beautiful little toddler.  In the short two years that have past I have witnessed and felt a love that I didn't know existed until now.  I am in awe when I look at my daughter, she is the absolute world to Sage & I.

Today, I am thankful for my husband, our home, our family - especially our parents who taught us to be the people we are today.  They made us into the adults we are with their example.  Also, most importantly, we are thankful for all of the blessings that He has provided us.

God is great and we are so blessed.

Happy Sunday, xo.

p.s.  This is usually where I say I'm going to start posting more often but with our new, chaotic, life.. I'm going to try to update more often.  We'll see how that works ;)
