If you don't feel like sifting through my blog then here's a shorter, condensed version. One evening Anelia was playing peek-a-boo facing an empty corner & when asked who she was playing with she said "Grandma!" Later that night as we were laying in bed, she told Sage & I goodnight then later turned to the foot of the bed & said "Goodnight Grandma, I love you!" The next morning we showed her a picture of her Grandma Betty & asked Anelia who that was & she said "That's Grandma!"
All of Anelia's Grandmothers are living except her Grandma Betty who passed in 1988, before Sage was even born. We never really talked about her to Anelia. I know that our girls know their great grandparents who have passed. I know that our great grandparents continue to watch over & protect our princesses.
We're currently vacationing in Hawaii where my mother-in-law's parents are buried. Yesterday we took our girls to place flowers on their grave sites. When we visited Great Grandma Betty's gravesite, Tai kept pointing at her picture & smiling in excitement. When we were ready to leave Anelia refused & sat down. She was mumbling things, I'm not sure what she was saying but I'd like to think she was conversing with her Great Grandma.
If you follow me on Instagram, you'll have to check out the picture there.
It's time to continue to enjoy paradise. I'll of course be filling in all about our entire trip at a later date. Until next time...
Xo,
Ang
