So much for my goal of blogging as often as possible. My ipad still has the 9pm "Blog Now!" alert going off & I obviously have been ignoring it. Shame.
Our family is doing incredibly well. All thanks to Sage & his job. We're blessed & our lives are now starting to slowly take shape, slowly but surely.
Patience. Nothing worth having comes easy & I'm learning this over time.
We're currently looking to buy our second car & then hopefully before the holidays we'll have a place of our own. We already have one beautiful car that my parents gave me when I was 16. Her name is Lucy & she's a Lexus RX300 but Lucy is getting old & is just 300 miles short of her 200,000th mile. Therefore, we are looking to purchase another car because it will be needed in our near future.
I don't think I'll get rid of Lucy until I have to. I'll probably drive her until she doesn't work anymore. I love that car. I love all the memories that I have while driving her & I really will probably cry when I have to say goodbye to her. *knocks on wood* I used to always laugh at people who had a relationship with their car & look at me... I am one. pfft. lol.
Back to our future, new car... With Sage's new job we are able to afford a new ride so we have been hunting & have fallen in love with Toyota Venzas. They're great cars and to top them off, they look just like Lucy. Winning! Shopping for a car is much harder than people make it seem. You have to be approved for a loan & if you don't like the interest rate you're offered you have talk to banks & credit unions & work the numbers & all of this has just made me realize how old I really am. ha.
Aside from car shopping Anelia turned 19 months in May. I love her so much. Sage & I are so blessed to have her in our lives. We also are feeling very baby hungry but we don't want to have another until we have our own place of our own.
I can't wait for the day though. Anelia needs a friend. Recently, our friend Alisha came over who has a son named Kingston. He's 6 months & such an adorable baby. He was all over Ane & pulled her hair & Ane didn't hit him back or anything. She was gentle & kind. She's probably just as ready for a baby as we are.
Eventually, not too soon though.
Well, that's it for now.
XOXO!
