This past week has been very busy and exciting for our little family. As I had mentioned in my previous blog, Sage was accepted into the Henderson Police Academy. Last week was his first week of orientation and tomorrow he starts the real academy. Last week they had a family day to show family members what exactly they'll be doing. They started out with a video showing them doing drills, boxing, shooting guns, getting tazed and pepper sprayed. Needless to say, the academy is much harder than the previous one Sage was in and they urge family members to support them throughout the entire 14 weeks.
I'm so proud of Sage and I love to see him work so hard at this. I can truly tell that he's passionate about his new career move. He comes up and goes through his flash cards and then has me quiz him. He has majority of his stuff down so far and I know he'll continue to work hard and do what he needs to, to graduate.
Ane turned 18 months on the 26th. I can't believe she'll be 2 in 6 more months. She is saying alot of words and LOVES to dance. She's starting to get into everything like any other toddler. She's found interest in the toilet (yuck) and I'm crossing my fingers that she'll keep her hands out of it. I am wanting to get a potty training toilet for her soon because I feel like she'll be easy to potty train. She is starting to randomly squat when she pees which is a sign she is almost ready. She's sometimes so sweet and will come over to me just to cuddle but then shortly after she'll slap my face or pinch me. Her emotions are like a rollercoaster but that's normal for someone her age.
Ane growing has definitely made me baby hungry. I want another one before Ane is 3 so I figure we'll give everything a try once Ane is 2. In the meantime I'll just need to barrow someone's baby occasionally haha.
We are currently saving up to purchase a second car. We were originally saving for a house but we figure we need a second car when we move so that's what our new goal is.
This year is flying so quickly, I can't believe it's already almost May. Wow! Well, that's all for now.
